“Hello Canyon Lake Neighbors”

For those of you that don’t know me, I am Jim Randle and I am running for City Council on November 3rd.

As a 20 year resident of Canyon Lake and a member of the Chamber of Commerce, I want to continue my service to the community and really make a difference. During my time with the Chamber of Commerce, I attended all City Council meetings, presented Chamber of Commerce business to the City Council and acted as liaison to City Hall. I Co-chaired the annual Golf Tournament which supported various causes. I have also participated in Business Round Table meetings. During my 3 years as President I added the President’s Award to honor businesses that gave of their time to help in public events. I work regularly with local officials to support small business and improve the needs of our community.

My background is in business (Oil, Real Estate and Services), but my passion has been in mentoring our youth. I coached and participated in sports at various levels. I have witnessed the effect that team effort and personal accomplishment can have on our youth. My focus on sports lead to my working with the Denver Broncos. This also taught me about larger corporate structures and how best manage people and resources towards a mutually beneficial outcome.

My past affiliations include being a member of the Board of Directors of the Long Beach Petroleum Club, where I was the 2nd youngest President. I was also Chairman of Signal Hills Crime Stoppers.

I am confident that as a City Council member my experience in working with others to find solutions and my extensive background will help me to address the issues for the betterment of the community.
